Happy New Year!
I hope this year brings all that makes you happy, healthy and content.
We're into it right away. For so long we've been procrastinating and putting jobs off. This year its gonna happen. We've been living in our house for three and a half years now with this great gaping hole we keep looking at .....
Its time to do something about it. Finally we're starting to build our stairs to the loft. Its hard work and looking at it just doesn't change a thing!
We made the side bits (I don't know the proper name & DH is back at work today so I can't ask him) quite some time ago and they've been sitting out on the front verandah.
The rest of the timber we needed was delivered the week before Christmas, so it's time to get to work.
We've cut them all to length and didn't take long to get a system going.

and me doing mine .... I wish there was someone else here to take a pic, cos I really am doing work!!
Its time consuming and this wood cost a fortune so we have to get it right first time.
I'm very excited about getting them up, its going to be 'my' space up there, sewing/craft and whatever else takes my fancy .... and no kids ... lol.
