For whatever reason, (aside from the mandarin tree) we've not been too successful with some of our fruit trees in the past. Looks like that's about to change.
I'm predicting a good year .... maybe relying a little too heavily on the 'power of positive thought' but we'll see.
My morning saunter with cuppa in hand.
First time we've had apples ...
First time we've had pears ...
First time we've got to pick and eat peaches, and we've picked and eaten quite a few, usually the parrots get them all, not this time ...
Blueberries on my new bushes ...
Not enough figs for jam, but enough to enjoy ...
And yesterday's pick for dinner ...
Love it, love it, love it!
Have a fantastic day ... we're in for a summer thunderstorm today ... love it :)

This is fantastic! Where do you live?
ReplyDeleteHi Michaele, I live in Western Australia, yep, all the way down here! It doesn't matter how much we harvest, grow ourselves or make, I still get so excited about it all, DH (plus the kids) thinks I'm a nutter most of the time, but I can live with that, I know he gets excited on the inside, lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day:)
