I'm endeavouring to become a regular with Friday's 'on my mind' with Rhonda at Down to Earth.
On my mind today is my mother-in-law. She came for dinner last weekend and brought these flowers - she's a florist and had come from her shop. As I walked past them this morning, I thought of her and that it is Friday. She hates Fridays, last year my father-in-law passed away from motor neurone disease, on a Friday. For us we remember the date and how many months it has been. For her, she remembers that its Friday, another week gone by without him.

I'm sorry about your father-in-law passing. I still miss mine and his anniversary is also approaching. I hope with time you will celebrate his life instead on Fridays and Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays or any day of the week. I think he would want you to.

oh, my. sounds like it's time to schedule some fun on Fridays, with perhaps some memory sharing of the good times WITH him. So sweet of her to bring such loveliness to you.
