Ok, so this has absolutely nothing to do with living green, living simply, baking bread, growing vegies or all the things I strive to achieve on a daily basis.
It is completely irrelevant to our way of life, to the things we hold dear, my ideals etc, etc .... but
I'm going to the COLD CHISEL concert today and I'm sooo excited!!!
We never go to concerts or events of any kind. It is usually not something I could ever justify spending money on. I have never been to a concert with DH - there you go, that's how long it is since I've been to one - but just this once, I pleaded could we go. I grew up listening to them and they're so Aussie (yeah I know Jimmy was born in the UK), but I can live with that!

Welcome back Julie!! I was hoping you hadn't given up blogging and kept checking up on you! I've been on holidays with the gang for over a month and have just started to catch up on my blog reading and here you are - awesome!
ReplyDeleteI hope all your family challenges have worked out for you and that you are happy with all the decisions that you made to simplify your life. I'm hearing you about the busy bits - at some point something has to go and naturally it's the things outside the family. Good on you!

ReplyDeleteYes, the Cold Chisel concert was fantastic, we sang and danced the night away! Just as well it was so loud because my singing is absolutely dreadful!
Evi, things seem to be settling down, DS16 off to Germany on Monday, DD19 for surgery two days later, I'm feeling much more at peace now, thankyou :)
